The concept of retirement home differs from a nursing home because at Golden Living, our concept of senior care focus on relaxation and reward after years of hard work. There are many reasons why the younger generations send their older folks to Golden Living. Among the reasons are
- This is not a place where you dump your parents. Resident of Golden Living have the freedom to go anywhere they wish. Unlike nursing home, the rules are very strict. Older folks at nursing home are locked with strict rules being in the compound
- We only take in healthy residents. We do not provide nursing aid because we are retirement home. Rest assures that older folks they mixed with are healthy and not terminally ill.
- We take care of your folks. You are entitle to leave your parents here during working hours and bring them home. You can treat this like day care centre
